• Head office manufacturing site in Wetherill Park NSW 8500sq metre complex
• Manufacturing also in Rockhampton Qld

• $70-80,000 + super

The job:
• Work from Wetherill Park Head office and manufacturing plant
• 60% Paperwork 40% Training staff etc
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and codes of practice in the areas of Quality, Safety and Environment
• Design and implement strategies for continuous improvement in Quality, Safety and Environmental Management
• Report to Technical Manager
• Manage product approvals including TGA, APVMA, HACCP, AQIS, NZFSA and preparation of applications for licences, permits and approvals for submission to regulatory agencies
• Manage distribution of Material Safety Data Sheets within Australia and New Zealand
• Review and maintain product labels, packaging, storage and marketing for compliance to regulatory requirements
• Optimise and maintain a ‘safety first’ culture underpinned by managing a rigorous Safety Management System onsite
• Report on key Quality, Safety and Environmental metrics
• Lead the effective management of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems via assessing, monitoring and improving processes, documents and resources to ensure effective compliance

• Passionate about safety and enjoy Regulatory Affairs / Compliance
• Knowledge of Chemical Manufacturing
• Understanding of hazardous goods
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of relevant Australian standards
