Job# 1703-05 Strategic Senior Sales Manager. 2IC to GM – Sydney NSW

• $180-200,000 + generous car allowance + incentives + head office benefits

• Large, established, highly regarded and respected Multinational Company
• Head office in North Ryde – NSW
• Core Pathology systems including Analysers, Automation and IT systems
• New products. High value systems and solutions.

• $180-200,000 base salary + $50,000 car allowance + super + 20% performance based bonus + corporate head office perks

The job:
• Drive the team in a process driven way.
• Co-ordinate / orchestrate adherence to processes consistent across the organisation.
• Ensure sales success and grow the business
• Work with and drive an exceptional senior technical sales and support team
• Be involved with Business Planning, Budgets and Long Term Plans
• Engage at the executive level especially with Key Opinion Leaders
• 7-8 direct reports plus indirect reports
• Be 2IC to the Regional Director and be groomed to potentially take over when the time comes.
• Ideally be Sydney based but potentially Melbourne based
• Training of your team. They are already highly skilled so this training is ongoing.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Continually monitor performance verses plan and adapt accordingly to changing conditions.

• Strong strategic solution selling and relationship building skills
• Superior verbal and written communications skills in English
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Proven success in a similar role, not necessarily in the same industry although preference will be given to people with knowledge of the Australia/ NZ health market
• Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues – Motivate people. Take any problems ‘off the table’ so your team can do their job.
• Extensive experience managing strategic accounts and working with senior level executives
• Prior experience leading a service/ sales/support team in the health care arena / diagnostics well regarded.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Australia / NZ as well as overseas corporate work in a similar role.
• Must have a relevant visa and passport (Australian or NZ Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident) with ability to travel throughout Australia and NZ as well as elsewhere internationally as required.
