CEO / principal recruiter with a lifetime career in commercial science. Diana worked on the bench, technical sales, marketing and recruiting before starting Science People.

Bookkeeper Extraordinaire. Robin has been with us almost since the beginning in 2000. She keeps all the accounts correct and most importantly pays us and bills.

As well as being an accomplished research scientist with a PhD in Typhoid, Dr Sophie began as a student and still processes your resumes into our system.

Newest member of the team. As well as helping with nearly everything Matt is a full time student studying Mechatronic Engineering with an interest in AI.

Geography not a problem

Geography has proven to not be an issue. One of our favourite recruitment assignments had Human Resources in Brisbane, Technical Manager in Perth, Candidate in Melbourne, recruiter in Sydney for a job in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea.

Our recruitment process

  1. Employer contracts Science People to find them the perfect person for a job.
  2. We search through our database and advertise on suitable media to find more candidates.
  3. All candidates who apply for a position receive a reply and details are kept on file.
  4. Even if a candidate is not suitable for the job they applied, they may be perfect for another.
  5. The shortlist of candidates is submitted to the employer who chooses who they wish to interview.
  6. We arrange interviews, provide feedback and conduct reference checks.
  7. We can arrange Pre-employment medicals and special checks including confirmation of Australian residency status and work rights.
  8. Assist with the offer, acceptance and start.
  9. Hopefully when the successful candidates does famously in the job and in a few years once they have been promoted we get the thrill of finding their replacement.
